WELCOME TO LISA
LISA is an AI-powered self-marking writing test for K-12 schools and teachers. It lets you and your staff quickly set tests, and then instantly and accurately assesses them on your behalf, providing immediate, detailed information about students' writing.
You can use LISA to:
- check your students' readiness to sit state or national standardised tests
- track your students' writing skills over time
- test the writing ability of students coming to you from contributing schools
- check the writing ability of international students, before they leave their home country, to help place them into the appropriate stream at your school
- conduct written assessments across different subjects (e.g. history, technology, maths and statistics), using LISA to monitor students literacy
- conduct short, informal formative assessments to inform teachers lesson planning and provide quick feedback to students and parents (via the teacher)
LISA also provides you and your teachers with a simple and clear rubric that defines the mechanics of writing. This enables all teachers at your school to be teachers of literacy, and gives students (and their family) a clear framework for improving their writing.
